Blending dance movements, spoken words, visual effects (playing with light and shadow), and music, it was inspired by the story of my book – a Chinese woman's journey of coming to Cambridge after breaking away from an abusive relationship. It created a felt journey for the audience to witness and embrace the struggles women faced along the way of feminist awakening and self-empowerment.
